Powering Through: How EVs Can Add Resilience to Your Home in a Disaster

Members of the Blue Ridge EV Club and Land of Sky will be speaking at the event. Electric Vehicles have been playing an interesting role in Asheville during the recovery from the disaster including as a power source, link to satellite cell, and more. The first hour will be the speaker portion followed by an outdoor portion from 11am-1 pm featuring 3 components: 1) EV load demonstrations (ie what EVs can and have been supplying electricity for during the disaster in Asheville's relief work), 2) EV exhibition (various makes and models) and 3) a ride along event.
